Wake up and Smell the History
Earlier today the Pope announced he would be abdicating his papacy. This hasn’t happened since 1415. That’s before Columbus. Thirty-six years before Columbus was born. Just ponder that. We’re really living through something historic. I took this picture of St. Peters Basilica at the Vatican. The church is beyond old, but even it did not witness the 1415 abdication.
